Join the cast of Lochwood Academy's production of 'The SpongeBob Musical, Youth Edition' this summer and experience the thrill of performing in a real musical!
Over two weeks, you'll learn the songs, dances and script and finish with a gala performance for your family and friends!
Whether you are SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, or Sandy this summer camp will make you feel like a star.
The Musical Theatre Summer camp is a chance for talented students in rising grades 2nd-8th to come together to experience a professional musical theatre performance. With a full age range for cast, students are plunged into real-world Broadway scenarios within a safe and nurturing environment. Students learn from and encourage each other. Older students learn leadership skills while helping the younger students and the younger students learn how to quickly prepare for a professional performance by being mentored by and learning from the older students.
With industry professionals by your side, you'll learn how to sing, act and dance better than ever before - and best of all, discover the joy of performing.
Each day is fast paced with rehearsing scenes, choreographing dances and workshopping your lines to ready yourself for two (2) performances for family, friends and community at the end of the second week!

What does a typical day look like?
-9am-4pm
-Working choreography (please wear tennis shoes)
-Song rehearsals with accompanist
-Lunch (please bring a lunch each day, a refrigerator is provided)
-Scheduled individual and small-group script practice
-Please bring your own water bottles
Are auditions Required?
Yes and No. It does not take an audition to be a part of the camp, but there are auditions for Character Roles.
